People's Embassies of Belarus
The network, established by the diaspora, protects the rights and interests of the Belarusian community abroad. The team provides updates on the situation in the country, establishes contacts with governments, and assists people who have been forced to migrate with legal and practical matters.
Talaka — Associazione dei bielorussi in Italia
The association that supports the Belarusian community in Italy. The team provides temporary housing in a shelter and offers legal advice.
Unge Relasjoner
The project offers an anonymous chat service for young people aged 16 to 25. The team at the Oslo Crisis Centre provides advice on unhealthy relationships and violence. Advice is available both to those who have experienced violence and to those who are themselves exhibiting aggressive behaviour.
Uruguay Celeste Deporte y Diversidad
A Uruguayan organisation uses sport to promote the social inclusion of LGBTQ+ people. The team organises inclusive training sessions, tournaments and educational workshops. The initiative places particular emphasis on creating a safe space for women and young people within the sporting community.
Bilitis Foundation
A Bulgarian organisation supports LGBTQ+ people. The team provides free psychological support and develops a safe space at the Rainbow Hub community centre in Sofia.
17 Mayıs Derneği
The organisation provides comprehensive support to the LGBTQ+ community in Turkey. The team offers free psychological, legal, and social assistance. As part of its work, it implements a wellbeing programme to combat burnout and protects the rights of elderly LGBTQ+ people.
Pembe Hayat Derneği
A Turkish solidarity organisation protects the rights of transgender people and those working in the sex industry. The team provides direct support through a helpline offering psychological and social counselling. The organisation also runs the Dilek İnce Giysi Bankası clothing bank.
Mülteci Hakları Merkezi
A Turkish organisation provides free legal support to people with refugee experience and those seeking asylum. The team offers advice on legal rights and legalisation procedures, providing information materials in Russian. The organisation’s activities also include training sessions on topics such as gender-based violence and the protection of children’s rights.
Pan Africa ILGA
The Pan-African Association brings together LGBTQ+ organisations across the continent to carry out joint human rights advocacy work. The team runs campaigns for decriminalisation and engages with the UN and the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights. As part of its work, the association publishes research and runs training sessions on strategic litigation, digital security and leadership development.
